« Frequently Asked Questions »

What day are Feeder/Jake Bugg/The Vengaboys playing?

The day splits and stage splits for all artists have now been announced. You can see the stage and time each act is playing in our Lineup page.

Are there any stage clashes?

We try and avoid clashes between bands where we can. Our main stage and second stage have no clashes and there are no other stages open during the headline acts.

Can I be on the lineup?

Maybe.

We accept artist applications between May and December each year. Once our lineup is announced we no longer accept submissions until the following year.

We carefully select our lineup to ensure we bring our festival-goers the best artists possible from local talent and far away.

Is it only rock music?

We have an immense range of music - including rock, pop rock, alt rock, indie rock, electro rock, acoustic rock, acoustic pop, folk, ska, punk, pop punk, metal, grime, rap, horror punk, electro, crossover, dubstep, trance, drum and bass, and everything in between.

This year there are 4 stages and a rave dome - so there is music to suit all tastes.

There's also all sorts of other activities available for all ages

Can I pay in installments?

Yes.

You can split the cost over 3 months using PayPal.

At the checkout stage, select PayPal as your choice of payment method, and you can split the cost over 3 months.

This is currently the only option for splitting payments. We hope to bring more payment plans options for future festivals.

Can I pay on arrival / on the gate?

Yes, but only whilst there are tickets left.

You can wait until you arrive to purchase your tickets, however Teddy Rocks Festival has sold out in previous years, so we recommend purchasing them through our website in advance to save any disappointment. Some ticket types may have already sold out.

Is there any allocated seating or standing positions?

No. Although tickets may suggest this, there is no allocated standing or seating areas. You are free to stand wherever you like within the arena.

I Live in Blandford, do I get a discount?

Yes, Blandford residents still get a discount on ticket prices when purchased at The Greyhound pub in Blandford for the festival.

Proof of residence is required to get the discounted tickets. See our Tickets page for more information.

Are there disabled tickets?

We don't sell a specific ticket type for disabled customers, but we do cater for disabled customers. You can read about our facilities on our Accessibilitypage.

Disabled customers are entitled to purchase a free carers ticket for a carer attending the festival with them. Apply for a carers ticket.

Can I bring a chair? Can I bring an Umbrella?

Yes, you may bring a chair with you to sit on into the arena.

We hope you won't need an umbrella but should the weather require it, you can bring one of those too.

Should it rain, many of our stages and audience areas are within big circus style tents, the Merry Woodland stage and audience area is surrounded by trees, and there are various shelters dotted throughout the festival site.

Can I bring my dog / pet?

No animals are permitted on site except guide or hearing dogs, and animals that already reside on the farmland. Sorry, Fido!

Can I smoke or vape?

Yes, in open areas. Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is not permitted in any of the marquees, enclosed public spaces or buildings, including the bars.

Can I bring special medicine or food for medical reasons?

Yes.

Normally we do not permit food to be brought into the arena. However, if you require specialist food for medical reasons or medicine to be carried with you, please consult our team on on arrival.

If you need to keep medicine or medical food chilled, on arrival head to our welfare tent where our welfare team can assist you in storing these safely.

Do I need cash?

We are mostly card. The box office will take card or cash.

Most traders inside the festival will take card, the occasional one may be cash only.

The essentials shop inside the site will do cashback whilst they have cash available.

How far is it from the campsite to the car park?

Not far! Our car park is in a field adjacent to the camping field.

To walk from the car park to the campsite will take less than 5 minutes at a slow pace, and less than 10 to the farthest point from the car park depending on which campite area you are in.

How far is it from the campsite to the arena?

Not far at all! Our car park is directly next to the arena entrance. The earlier you arrive, the closer you will be to the arena.

Is there a noise curfew?

We expect the campsite areas to be quiet by 11pm, and by 9pm in the quiet camping area.

Music and entertainment is provided for campers until midnight in the arena and until 2am in the Merry Woodland for those who want to keep the party going, but on return to the campsite we expect everyone to be quiet and respectful.

Can I bring my own Alcohol?

You are allowed to bring alcohol for personal consumption into the campsites. Alcohol may not be taken into the arena or on the shuttle bus.

Maximum of 24 cans, or 2x 70cl wine, or 1X 70cl spirit per person is allowed. All alcohol must be decanted into non-glass containers.

My live-in vehicle is larger/longer than the allowed 7 metre square area, what can I do?

To ensure that there is sufficient room for emergency vehicles, the pitches are specifically this size. You can however purchase 2 upgrades, effectively giving you a 7m x 14m area, which would allow you to park your vehicle horizontally across 2 pitches.

Can I volunteer?

Yes! We rely on an army of volunteers to help us create, maintain and take down the festival.

Can I be a photographer/videographer at the festival?

We're lucky to have some amazing teams who volunteer their time for the festival, and so we are not currently looking for photographers / videographers for the festival.

You can check out some of their amazing work in our gallery.

Do you have gluten free options?

Yes.

A selection of our food vendors offer gluten free options
